Hi everyone,

I am a little new to this please bear with me.

I have a little question I was wondering if any one may know the answer too.

in my garden when the sun goes down i hear what sounds like grasshoppper or cricket but quite loud, like a clicking sound continuous until i move in the garden then the noise stops briefly.

If I move towards the sound it moves around me quite quickly.

Any ideas as it just seems to like my garden and i am curious as to what it may be.

There is a thread here where several people have reported similar things at night. It is obviously difficult to say what it is without hearing it though.
If you can record it singing someone might be able to identify it, or if you can stalk it carefully and get us a picture so much the better!
