Hello everyone  I, we, I found this forum on google while looking up some info on a macro lens i was interested in .. As a diy environmentalist & keen natural world spectator i was very interested in the site. I had a look around & showed my partner in crime the site and we thought it would be great to join.
We will both use this account (named after our super hero dog) as it makes more sense for us ... er .... it just does
We call ourselves Gary & Melissa. (but thats not really our names - its from one of our fav tunes)
We will try and spend some time reading the threads that catch our eyes and no doubt we will start popping up here & there in time. Im a 'Fun-Guy' kinda guy ... love the stuff !! but am quite the novice on the subject.
We will give you all some more details about us soon. But as its 3am right now .. i shall round this up!!

Melissa & I work & live in a community regeneration project in East London at the moment called 491 Gallery. Its a creative space for the local types that we have been involved with since 2001. We have a great garden area that we have regenerated from a waste ground. Its so much fun ... We have the local kids involved in the gardens management, They have their own group they call the NPS (nature protection service) and hold workshop days and nature days.
Over the 7 years we have been transforming the garden area we have ended up with a very bug filled space, We have a mahoosiv population of stag beetles in the garden from the use of logs over the last 7/8 years for instance.
We will speak of stag beetles soon
