Hi Gareth and welcome to WAB I lived in Hastings not far from Eastbourne before moving to Cornwall and Devon Lots of interesting down land flowers in that area. We have also been camping a few times on the Gower really love Rhossili. I find Carnivorous plants fascinating have a Sarracenia on the kitchen windowsill wish I had room to grow more but love to see the wild Sundews on Dartmoor  |

Pinguicula and drosera are relatively easy to find here in the wild. I have seen both in Brecon and Snowdonia too. Rhossili is my absolute favourite! |

Thanks to everyone for the greetings and stories - and no Duncan - not so warm at the moment - around 3 degrees today (it was minus 8 a few weeks ago) and our first snow of the autumn in Stockholm. They have had minus 20 already in the north. Just got in from changing all the wheels on the car - winter (studded) tyres are the order of the day until around April. Glad it is only necessary twice a year |
