Hello All - I've done things rather back to front - by joining and uploading this morning - then running out of time to actually say Hi! I was almost late for work. . .
My name is Pauline and I'm a ranger at Pennington Flash Country Park where I met Barbara and Greg the other day and heard about this website - which looks like a fantastic place to be - just up my street as they say!
Look forward to seeing everyone's work and achievements photographing our great British wildlife.

Thanks for this wonderful welcome - I feel right at home! Hello to all other newcomers too who must be just wandering around the site in a daze. . .
Thanks Again Barbara - Its all down to you that I'm here as I tend not to wander around the internet - there is so much of it and its so time consuming so I doubt I would have tripped over this site - so really I can't say thanks enough as a site dedicated to British Wildlife is just exactly for me. Watching wildlife in this country is all I do in my spare time - some would say I'm a sad git - but hey - it worries me none - roll on retirement then I can spend all my time wandering around this country just watching and photographing!

In fact I'll go one further and say - at last I've found a place where I will fit right in - cos looking around everyone else here is nuts about this countryside and wildlife of ours!

A warm welcome to WAB. I am sure you will enjoy it here.
I see that you work at Pennington Flash Country Park.
Although I live in the deep south I am also a football fan that visits the red half of Manchester regularly. I often take the opportunity to drop in to Pennington Flash and must say you have some excellent wildlife there and some exceptional opportunities for photography.
The new football season approaches .... maybe I will see you .... at Pennington Flash rather than Old Trafford .
