| | | Hi from Wales Hello all,
Just found this site and would like to say hi. I live in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Mid-Wales. We are lucky enough to have Red Kites hunting over our back garden most days. I have an interest in all wildlife and have 2 garden ponds that recently have seen a large amount of dragonflies emerging (including 5 emporers). I shall post a few snaps in the gallery.
For other 'pondies' out there I recopmmend another board www.fishcrazy.co.uk |

| | | Re: Hi from Wales Ref Red Kites, In my job I spend a lot of time around Sennybridge in Wales and often see the Red kites, but last wk taking me totally by surprise when driving along the A14 at the Cambridge Northants border I saw a Red Kite flying literally no more than tree height above the road. Anybody know if this is a normal sighting in this area? |

I have seen a Red Kite on a few occasions from the A14 in this area and you are not too far from the Rockingham Forest re-introduction area.
