| | | Hello from Bodger Hello evryone !
I live on the Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales. I'm surrounded by the most beautiful wildlife imaginable. We have a five acre smallhoding which we hobby farm in as natural a way as we can. I've planted quite a few trees over the last 18 years which are really showing wildlife dividends now.
Thankfully living here is like going back 40 years through a time warp.
I've always thought of myself as a bit of a countryboy but in recent years I've become aware of the massive gaps in my knowledge regarding our countrys wildlife.
I've had a skim through the site and the photographs have been fantastic, so the first thing I'm going to do is to buy myself a decent digital camera and then try to learn how to use it.
I'm chronically rubbish at spelling and even worse at computers, so I would ask people to be gentle with me ! |

I grew up in the countryside too and have been to North Wales a few times (but not your bit I don't think!!).
I'm also very much learning how to use my new digital camera so you're among friends there too!

| | | Re: Hello from Bodger Hello Bodger, a warm welcome to WAB from me. You have come to the right place to fill in the gaps in your knowledge of the countryside. Enjoy the site and I look forward to seeing more from you. Don't worry about the spelling, can't be any worse than mine.

| | | Re: Hello from Bodger Night Shade.
The nearest grey city is almost a two hour drive away and instead I commute a whole seven miles to work in the market town of Pwllheli !
I'll try my best with the camera and then I'll have to work even harder to get my computer whizz kids to dirty their hands by posting them for me ! |
