Hello - again!

Started posting here some months ago, but didn't get very far as had to disappear off what with one thing or another!

.. So .. thought I should say hello again, and re-introduce myself ..

Only just recently moved up to Northampton from Sussex, and looking forward to having a chance to explore the area for local wildlife - there seems to be so many 'watery' places around here, and reservoirs, so looking forward to visiting those in the autumn/winter months to see what sort of birds are around. I'm not really 'up' on those birds at the moment, but would like to learn more about them. And of course, I'm not too far from those Red Kites around Rockingham way - went up a few months ago, but only had a few sightings off in the distance Never mind, plenty more chance to visit again!

I'm just on the edge of the town/countryside here, so hoping to encourage a few goldfinches, etc, into my garden (have hung up my special goldfinch feeder in anticipation!)
