| | | Thicko needs help Hello all. I'm total rubish at these things but can anyone tell me how I can upload an image I've put into the image library onto a forum? Sorry to be so stupid so any help would be good. Thanks |

Have your image ready and reduce size to less than 1 Mb.
Click Gallery at the top of the page then "Image Library- Archive". Then click the Upload link that you see in the green box, then click to upload to the image library (blue option).
Choose your reduced image file, scroll down and click submit. May take a minute or too.
Hope this helps! |

| | | Re: Thicko needs help Here's the way I've been inserting pics: -
(To comply with WAB's Gallery requirements, try to make pics. less than 250Kb at full size, and less than 1250 pixels on longest side).
To copy them into your reply, you just click on the blue coloured words "my images" showing at the top of your reply to thread screen. This will take you to your image Gallery where you will only see your pictures.
then: -
1 - click on the picture you want, to make it full size (You may need to do this process twice if it's a large filesize.)
2 - Once it's at full size, right click on the 'forum code' below the picture and click "select all".
3 - right click again and select "copy"
4 - click "back" and "back" again to get back to your reply to thread screen. (If it was a large file size, you would have to click "back" a third time, before you get back to your reply screen).
5 - paste the picture into your reply (inserts wherever your curser is).
6 - Repeat for each pic wanted.
Regards
Mike.

| | Re: Thicko needs help Hi Herne the Hunter, and welcome,
There are no thicko's on this site, it's just that some are more advanced than others, and when you get more involved it becomes easier and your knowledge will increase, then you, can help a newbee out just as you will be helped, Hope you enjoy the site as we all do,
all the best,
Duncan. |

| | | Re: Thicko needs help 1. left click in the box marked forum code below the photo - it shades blue when clicked.
2. Then right click and then left click copy in the box that appears.
3. Go to your post and right click, then left click paste - easy when you get the hang of it.

| | | Re: Thicko needs help It is a bit of a roundabout way of including images here but, apparently, it is due to technical reasons.
I do it in the same way as Mike and Ron and once you get the hang of things everything works quite easily.
The only point which sometimes confuses me is that when using the 'Go Back' arrow and I get back to my post it shows as a blank new question page for a few seconds before showing what I have previously typed. As a result I sometimes go too far back and get lost.
If I am just using one image, I usually select and copy it before clicking on New Post and starting to type anything. That, I find, is a lot easier. |
