Although I live in Coventry I am a Brummie at heart, having lived there for 58 years.

I see John that you are a Brummie and a birdwatcher. Same here, though I have lived just outside of Brum for over 30 years now...still a Brummie though! I once had a Tawny Owl on my rotary line in my garden! I reckon that was one of the highlight's of my birdwatching! |

That Tawny Owl takes some beating. I have never had an Owl of any sort in any garden I have had although I did get a Tawny Owl a few weeks ago flying over my head whilst I was mothing.
I have had a Little Owl do the same on one occasion last year but that is the sum total of Owl sightings in my gardens.
