| | | Hiya Hi nice to meet you all. I have been looking for a while now but have just decided to join. I was in Lake District last week and climbed my first 'mountain'. Blencathra! It was so exhilarating and scary. Any other women on here who have done the Sharp Edge? Would love to chat! Col x |

I've done most of the mountains in the Lake District in my youth, Striding Edge on Helvellyn was the scariest, closely followed by the 'quick' route up Great Gable. Blencathra was a doddle by comparison though the screes were great fun
Welcome to WAB. |

| | | Re: Hiya Hi Kayleigh and RobinP,
I have heard about the striding edge on helvellyn and think that that is the next one I want to try. I live in the West Yorkshire area so its difficult to get walks of any comparison at all. Do either of you know any websites I could look at to find some walks/climbs which would stretch me? Ta Colette |
