Hi,

My name is Steve and I'm from East Sussex in the UK. I'm terrible with introductions so I'll keep it short and to the point. By day I'm an IT Administrator for a medium sized manufacturing company. My role is pretty diverse and I deal with front end user support, server maintenance, database and application development and pretty much anything else considered IT.

Out of work I'm developing myself as an amateur photographer. It's photography that's brought me to this site. My main photographic interests are motorsports, landscape and architecture but I'm still enjoying trying new areas as I get the chance. One of the new areas I've recently started getting into has been wildlife photography. I'm lucky to have some nearby places where I can try my hand at this discipline. This has led to me finding an interest in the birds and wildlife that I'm discovering.

My knowledge of the various species and is not great but I'm ready to learn. Hopefully this site will help me with that.

Well, not exactly a short intro in the end. I look forward to meeting you all.

Welcome to WAB, Steve - I'm sure you will soon get bitten by the bug here (not literally, I hope!) – I look forward to seeing some of your wildlife pics.

And there are a whole bunch of knowledgeable people here, ready and waiting to identify anything you find out there!

I can see me getting addicted to both the wildlife photography and this site. It seems like a great resource with some helpful and knowledgable members.
