Hi,

I have realised that I have been very rude joining the forum and not saying hello!

Not very good at these but here goes.

My name is Richard and I like nature photogrpahy...

I got my first DSLR just over a year ago and started taking photographs of the local park wildlife. This rekindled an interest in wildlife and nature that had wained over the years living in London.

So now I am a member of the WWT, RSPB and the London Wildlife trust and pay regular visits to the local parks and nature reserves and generally just enjoy the great outdoors. .

I joined the forum in the first instance to ID a beetle I had photographed but I have looked around and it looks a great place so I hope to be able to provide some input as well.

I have a lot to learn especially on Insect Identification (I have already has to ask the admins to remove one of my Gallery images due to a bad ID, will be more careful in the future) but I think that's what I enjoy most about nature there is always something new!
