Hi, I think I may have a doe nesting in the garden (posible not nesting!). A run has been excivated but it is now covered over. Any sugestions as to what I should do, it's in the middle of the lawn and we don't want to cause a problem to the rabbit if it has young in there.  |

Can you not just leave it as is i.e not covered over and mow round the edges?

If you like animals, sometimes the best thing for them (and therefore you) is to let them decide! As long as it causes no great hardship to you. Your conscience would be clear.

I would follow the advice of djackso,as long as you dont mind an unkempt lawn for a time leave well alone for a while.

You could make a deer scarer. There not harmful, just the clonking sound shoes them away.
Just a quick suggestion!
