I've just joined and wanted to say hi. I live in South Yorkshire but its next to Derbyshire so not too bad. 
My main interest is dragonflies and butterflies although if it crawls hops or jumps I'll try and photo it. I'm to be found most days at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve in South Yorkshire photographing with the Nikon D300.
I am semi retired which helps in having days free mid week to enjoy the peace and quiet of the reserve.
Off to look around this big site, hopefully will bump into some of you soon. |

Hi Brian and welcome to WAB, Your interests in photography are very simular to mine, Dragonflies, Damselflies and any insect that moves, flies or shuffles and I'm there.
I have the Nikon D80 but am saving like mad to upgrade to the D300, well its either that or the Sigma 50-500 so I can take photo's of birds during the winter when there are no insects about (was really bored last winter) anyway enjoy the site, look forward to your posts.
