| | | Another hello fromLeicestershire Hi
I joined a few years back, made one post I think and then forgot about it and re-discovered this site a few days ago. I live on a mixed family farm near Melton Mowbray where we do lots of wildlife conservation work. We also host visits to give people the chance to learn about farming, the countryside and the wildlife management that we do. We have an SSSI and several Local Wildlife Sites. We are having some FREE guided walks on Sunday June 1st aimed at people interested in wildlife but so far have hardly any bookings so please if you live near us then consider looking us up! I get really disillusioned - we work so hard for our wildlife but many people think that farmland is no good for wildlife and that all farmers do is rip hedges out and spray things. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Threaded Mode |
