Hello, I'm new to this but I have a question, I wonder if anyone can help me. I'm doing some research on the most biodiverse areas in the UK and I need to do it by this afternoon, there is too much information to go through online. Could anyone recommend a particularly biodiverse area (eg I hear the River Avon is very biodiverse - the more specific the area the better) I need six in total, also if anyone has any info on the species in the area etc that would be amazing. Salisbury Plain's (Wiltshire) a good one (SPA, candidate SAC). MOD site so no intensive agriculture.
Canvey Island (Essex) (brownfield site) has recently been designated a SSSI because of its invertebrate biodiversity.

The area of Dorset surrounding Wareham
The area west of Llanelli
The area round Dunbar

These are the areas with the greatest numbers of flowering plants recorded for the New Atlas of the Flora of Britain and Ireland, and floral biodiversity is very likely to reflect animal biodiversity.

Amberley Wild Brooks is a very diverse area, as well.
