Greetings

Just a quick hello really

I'm new to this forum business so if I make any fundamental errors then please bare with me.

I live in Nottinghamshire and often out and about in the wilderness so hopefully I'll bump into some of you people in situ as it were.

Clumber park, Rufford, Sherwood (Park and pines) Hardwick and many of theold pit trails etc are my local haunts

Hi Oookster and a very warm welcome to WAB. Enjoy!

I almost live in Clumber Park so there's a good chance of seeing me there

Re: Greetings

Hi Oookster and welcome.

I'm not from the Nottingham area but Rufford and Sherwood are areas that I seem to be visiting recently so who knows we may meet up some time.

Re: Greetings

Thanks for the warm welcome

deer boy If i had to choose a specific wildlife type it would be birds as I seem to spend most time searching for them but to be honest I enjoy almost everything that nature can throw at us, If I have a walk in the outdoors and don't see a thing then I enjoy the walk....

Re: Greetings

A warm welcome for me as well, especially as your from my neck of the woods.

Some of the places you mentioned are my main haunts, Rufford in particular being one of my favourites, as you'll see if you look through my gallery.

I like rufford the more I go there, I always end up in that corner by the lake just waiting to see what turns up much to the kids annoyance at times

Yep, it's an addictive place. I'm surprised we haven't seen each other. I go to Rufford two to three times a week.
