I have just joined too. I agree with your comments about the site as these were the reasons I joined.
I wish DSLRs were around when I was your age. Enjoy your time here and most importantly, your time recording natural things.

Your age does not matter everyone on here is friendly and helpful have a look by using the search engine for WAB for a user called Wolfhill he is young and has won competitions it will enspire you
