| | | Re: Hello from Halifax Hi Andy, a warm welcome to WAB from me. I know what you mean about mammals being elusive. It's so frustrating at times. I've photographed many things, Snakes, insects, birds, would be great to get a mammal for a change (besides my dogs ).

Welcome from another newbie here. One of the cameras I own is an Olympus E500 which has been superseded once and shortly will be again (E510 and now the promised E520). I would not part with it though as it is extremely reliable and takes fab images although not up to the current spec.
Enjoy your stay here. I have been pleasantly surprised by how many people have given a very warm welcome.
