Hi Andy, a warm welcome to WAB from me. I know what you mean about mammals being elusive. It's so frustrating at times. I've photographed many things, Snakes, insects, birds, would be great to get a mammal for a change (besides my dogs  ).

Hi Andy
Welcome from another newbie here. One of the cameras I own is an Olympus E500 which has been superseded once and shortly will be again (E510 and now the promised E520). I would not part with it though as it is extremely reliable and takes fab images although not up to the current spec.
Enjoy your stay here. I have been pleasantly surprised by how many people have given a very warm welcome.

Thanks to all, I have also been amazed by the number of welcome messages and hope that one day our (new) site can offer the same level of community.... having only launched on thursday we are a bit of as yet though with a forum of 14!! lol  |

Will keep persevering on the mammals but aside from a fairly fleeting view of a fox in our garden the only other mammals I have seen there is next doors cat! lol |
