Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on any courses for complete beginners in or around Leicestershire?
Although i have now learnt how to turn my camera on i thought i should start from the begining!!

Welcome Tony to the WAB well now you have turned your camera on try pressing the button to take the pic then you are on your way  Look around the net to find info you will soon find what you want and don't be araid of asking anything on this site all are helpful regards Jimmer

Welcome to WAB tony.
May I suggest you try contacting your local Authority, and asking if they run courses on photography, or you could try your local Library, I'm sure someone there will point you in the right direction.
But in the meantime do as Jimmer suggests, and press the button, you'll be surprised what comes out.

Hello Tony and welcome to the site now you have learnt to turn your camera on you will find all the help you need here when you upload pics into the photo forum plenty of advice and help we all try to help you have to start somewhere so start here we dont bite and are friendly enjoy the site and get taking and uploading the pics

Hi again everyone and thanks for the welcoming welcome!
I have taken a picture, (all stand back in awe!!) I have also posted on-line!!
I see what everyone was saying about just going out and taking pictures, it gives you a warm and satisfying feel about the sense of achievement. I am just going to keep trying, taking a notepad and pencil to scribble down the settings i have changed and hopefully i will remember which setting goes with which photo!!
The photo i have posted is awaiting your views and criticisms.
