Herllo Brendy and welcome not to sure how common it is but they are quite robust and adapt very easily so it should be ok

thanks for the reply Bill, yes its certainly adapted to having just the one claw, it as the leg t the talon is missing, nice site, i get Robins, Blue and GreatTits and Finches and Magpies in my garden.  |

Hello Brenda welcome and I have seen a couple of seagulls with one leg and they seem to do ok regards Jim

thats good, i know it will be ok and as adapted well as it hangs from my feeder, see pic, i just wandered if it was a rare sight, it must have been born that way. i last seen the bird in my garden a few monthsgo and thought i was seeing things..
