Re: operation

hi colin ,thanks for your message , the cancer has gone deeper than the doctor had thought and he is not able to do the op if it is worse so have to be referred now to a big professor at city hospital in birmingham , waiting for letter to see when i have to go over there---then date for op will be settled. sue

Re: operation

Good luck for Monday, Sue. I hope everything goes well with the consultant, and that they arrange the op as soon as possible. The waiting must be terrible for you.

Anyone would be scared but take comfort in the fact that medicine has moved on considerably over the years and they would rather wait and do it properly for you rather than take a chance. Keep us posted and stay positive

Re: operation

Hi Sue
I haven't posted on this thread before purely because I have no words of wisdom. But I just wanted say that I have been thinking of you, as I expect most of us have been even though we may not have said it on here.
We tend to forget how these things have a ripple effect on family and friends so I really hope for the best news for you all tomorrow.
And I just want to let you know I'll be sending all my positive thoughts your way.
Good luck and lots of love xx
Suzanne
