Hello all,
I thought I should introduce myself, I'm Davey from the Teesside town of Middlesbrough, Ive always had an intrest in wildlife.
I took early retirement the other year so can spend most of my spare time out and about.
My love is to photograph wildlife at the moment I'm doing a bit of macro shooting of fungi and plants, but my love is to capture insects, Birds and mammals.
I was introduced to the site by a friend of mine, I was trying to find a grasshopper I had taken a photo of, he told me I should try here and it worked. Great site.
By the way I retired young I'm only 56 now

welcome davey, i'm al newish myelf, but finding the site useful and fun. everyone seems really nice and helpful......i do photography myself, i was out at 6 this morning again photographing barn owls it turned out to be one of the most rewarding trips ever.... not because of the photo's but because of the owls.... at one point i could see 4 different owls. they seemed to be everywhere. got really excellent views up close. i left with a big grin on my face.

Welcome Davey, I am not a photographer by any means but do take some pics when I am out and about (usually watching Water Voles). I think you will find it a brilliant site, lots of super photos and great information.
