| | | identify this bird I have a niger seed holder which is regularly visited at this tome of year by goldfinches. But today am receiving visits from an unidentified bird. About same size as goldfinch. Brown with darker streaks and darker wing bars. Buff chest turning pale on belly, brown streaked. Yellow bill with darker shading round face. Closest I came on ID chart was a twite. But as I hear they extremely rare in South, is it possible to see one in a garden in Hornchurch area of Essex? | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Threaded Mode |
