hi my names james.. 35 years old.. been into widlife and bushcraft for as long as i can rememeber...my speciality is birds but love all wildlife... love just walking and seein wot i find.. i live in kent and my local patch is the medway.. lookin forward to adding my views and reading everyone elses... hi again.. james

Welcome to WAB. Great site with lovely people. . . I come from Essex myself but do a lot of work in Ashford, Maidstone, Canterbury and Thanet. . I may be onto you later to ask for a couple of good places around those areas for wildlife, if you know of any. . .

everybodys so friendly.. cool.. i've lived in east peckham (near tonbridge) all my life and know my local area well.. so anyone venturing this way let me know and depending on wot u like.. walkin/ wildlife.. i will try and point out some good places.. james

Welcome to the forum. You are not that far from me

Interested as to why your 'local patch' is Medway when you reside in Tonbridge?

Hubby used to be a Geog teacher in Medway until very recently and so undertook lots of field studies in that area; so although I havent been there myself (in that capacity) it's an area close to home...so to speak.
