Talking Bonjour

Just to say a hello from breezy brittany.
I stumbled on the site whilst trying trawling through sites in order to identiy a plant in my garden, well it looks more like a tree now after a year of watching it's growth. Mabea i should post a pic and ask the experts?
Anyway i hope to visit you regularly now and pehaps keep you updated with the progress in the gardens & fields here if anyones interested that is!!

Re: Bonjour

Bonjour fleurfee! How nice to have someone from la belle France on this forum! I haven't been to Brittany yet but I hear it is not unlike Cornwall?? I do love France and the French. I only wish I could speak their beautiful language better. Are you an ex-pat?

Looking forward to hearing what's going on over there and even better, to seeing some piccies.

Enjoy the forum,

D.

Re: Bonjour

Thank you both for your kind welcome, and yes i am an ex-pat of 7yrs now time has flown by (well it does when you spend your life looking at the forna & flora of this wonderful place. I have never been to Cornwall so i can't make the comparison but the fact that there are quite a lot of "pasties" here possibly gives the answer!
The wildlife here is so special, we have a family of Otters in the nearby lake and very ofter see the kingfisher fishing, Badgers are closeby too & unfortunately one family is missing their dad as some nasty driver hit him on the lane - that part i find particularly saddening but 'c'est la vie dans la campagne';
Anyway back to you for now and a huge thanks again for the welcome;

Re: Bonjour

Bonjour there, welcome to WAB. Sounds really beautiful where you live with plenty of wildlife. Nice to have someone from France. My 9 yr old daughter is learning to speak french and is visiting Paris soon. Sometimes she will ask me a question and I haven't a clue what she's saying .
