Hi,
Just joined the site, I'm from Scotland and fairly keen on hill walking. I climb a few munros each year, I've found it's a good way to explore the different areas of Scotland, each mountain seems to be different. I've encountered a lot of different animals on the way, some of which have been hard to identify with my limited knowledge. Hope this site is going to be useful.

Hi Alan, for any ID's you need in future, you'll know where to come to! You will be surprised what you learn and pick up by using WAB regularly and no doubt your interests will grow as other members enthusiasm for certain things spark your own imagination.

Hello there Alan and welcome to the best wilglife site in my opinion we are a friendly and helpful crowd here any Ids that are needed make a post in the relevent section and someone will help or point you in the right direction ,even photographic problems are debated to help out the less fortunate and just learning so there is quite a mind of info on this site.
Where in Scotland are you located? enjoy the site and look forward to you posts and pics
