Hello Everyone!

Hi All!

Only found you this evening, googling for info' about the Wood Mice in our Loft! We have humanely caught 4 in as many days, thought to mark them, to see if it is the same one returning but 'they' wont keep still for us! We had to get up middle of night to release one, which was making such a racket and had gnawed a hole in trap, it was peeping out and seconds from freedom! ...They are really Cute and it is SoOh cold out, but I fear for my summer clothes, shoes, handbags, stored up there!

This seems a really great Forum, so signed up right away! We live on edge of Bristol and have many events to relate...

Bye for now, Cathyh

Hello Cathy, welcome to WAB - I look forward to hearing some of your stories .
Sorry I can't help you with the Wood Mice problem though, perhaps you could ask on the mamal forum, where people who will know might linger -good luck.

Re: Hello Everyone!

Hi Cathy,

a warm welcome to WAB, we had the same problem when we moved in here - they were in the cupboard under the sink, I caught them humanely and I released them a good way off. We found the entrance outside it was a tiny gap at the side of the sink waste pipe, filled it, no problems since.

Carol.

Re: Hello Everyone!

Hi Cathy,

welcome to WAB.My dad used to get Wood Mice in his shed, just kept live-trapping them (for what seemed like forever) and releasing them a way off.
