| | | No Point In Lurking! So I’m jumping straight on in here!
I found this forum when I was trying to find some information about the odd insect in my garden, I had a peek about and thought it would be nice to join!
So here I am. I live in Hampshire with my husband, house rabbit and cat and wouldn’t trade this part of the country for anywhere .. I love it. I grew up in Portsmouth then moved to a much smaller market town and just six months ago found myself moving again to a very rural area which I adore.
I finally have a garden, so out went the bird feeders and bird table and I soon found that once a city girl, not always a city girl as I take great delight in wandering around the local area taking photographs, which is a passion of mine.
I love watching the birds in the garden and to my delight a pair of blue tits moved straight into the newly erected nest box .. it’s been very rewarding seeing them taking nesting material in and even better when I saw they were taking the rabbit fur we groomed out of our rabbit during her winter moult!
I’m a great lover of wildlife and my husband and myself can often be found driving back and forth from the wildlife hospital with casualties! We’ve saved everything from a baby vole right up to an abandoned lamb on Bodmin Moor during a nasty storm.
I look forward to reading your posts and posting more of my own! Now I shall stop rambling and have another look about! |
