Hello, I'm Robin from Bath UK. I'm 41 and currently a mature student studying for a degree in psychology and english. I am and have been for a number of years, a passionate environmentalist.

I would also add that I have recently had to leave one other 'environment' forum, British-run, because of a number of a very vocal eco-sceptics on that forum, who, one in particular, seemed to use the site to insult, abuse and humiliate environmentalists just, apparently, for entertainment.

I have no objection to eloquent arguments criticizing for example, global warming, but I do have an objection to insults e.g. describing environmentalists as subversives, potential terrorists, delusionary, fascists etc

I just hope there is no one of that nature on this site.
