Hi all...

I've just joined the forum there now. I'm a student studying Ecological management and Conservation biology at Queen's in Belfast. The internet has made information much more accessible, but i still think there's nothing better than workin as part of a group to find the answers somebody needs. Hopefully I'll be able to add something here as well as hoping to get help with queries i can't find answers for myself.

Hi DRS,

a warm welcome to WAB, you are right on both counts the Internet is great for research and study but I am always amazed at the diversity of people that turn up for locals walks and meetings - the knowledge in those groups - well I have not words to express it. So yes both are useful and should be used.
