Just to say hello & introduce myself

[Hi there everyone. Yes, another person who's just mad about snow! Am originally from Down Under and never got to see snow there (except in the mountainous areas) so I get very excited whenever I get to see any of it over here. Unfortunately though, living in Swindon, Wiltshire, we don't seem to get it often, although we did have about four centimetres back in February - oh that was so exciting! I have a strong feeling we will get some again this winter - certainly hope so.

Hi Snowhound - welcome to WAB! I hope you get your snow . I hate the stuff myself, last winter luckily we only had a few hours of it. Two years ago we were almost up to our knees in it for three weeks - that was the end of March begining of April .
Anyway, enjoy the site and I look forward to your posts!

Hi snowhound and a very warm welcome. Hope you get your snow. Not that keen myself, looks ok on Christmas cards and does make good photo opportunities at times but it's too cold for my liking when it snows.
