Hi,
I have been browsing this site for a few months and have eventually become a member (way too much stuff to do recently).
I am 19 and live in Cumbria, which has loads of wildlife as you may know

I am have been interested in the photography side of wildlife for a few years and currently have a DSLR Olympus E500 as well as an old Olympus OM10 with various lenses and accessories.
Apart from wildlife photography, I am keen on landscape photography and have had some pictures published on a calander with another brilliant photographer which went on sale recently (in cumbria).

I can't wait to meet everyone and to become involved with the forums.

Hi Christopher - I see a good ol' Cumbrian link with your user name! At 19 you must be an excellent photographer to have your images published. Which callender has your images? I might see about putting it on my Christmas list

. As a Cumbrian myself - I miss the lakes like mad and never get home often enough to get my fill of them!

I must confess that I only know Cumbria as one of the counties I pass through on the way to the Scottish Highlands but even from the views from the M6 it is clear it deserves far more attention.
