I have been stumbling onto this site on a regular basis whilst searching for all things wildlife through the usual search engines, more and more I have found myself refering to it for various snippets of information so I thought it time I joined.
My name is Russell Harriman, I live in Leicestershire, I work as an IT Administrator for a local Japanese company and I am 41.
My first love is digital photography (thats not to say I'm any good at it but I try), It is through my photography that I have become more and more aware of the countryside and wildlife around me and I am always searching for the next assignment. Although until recently I have mainly photographed birds, plants/fungi, castles ect, early in november I'm hoping to get down to Donna Nook, Lincolnshire and capture a few of them there Grey Seals (not literally)
hopefully there will be a few specimens of the avian variety too.
I had intended to make this pilgrimage last year but due to illness was unable to make it , so this trip has been a long time comming and I cant wait.

Hi Russel, welcome to WAB. I hope you enjoy it and and contribute some of your photograhy and thoughts now you have been lured in by those snippets of info

. If you get to see the seals we'd love to see some of your images - the last I managed were heads in the sea which looked like black blobs in the distant on my piccies!

I'm hoping to make it to Donna Nook too so if you get there first, perhaps you would be good enough to pass on some info on the best places to park etc.
