Hi there, I thought I would join up and say hi. Im richard from Kent, near ashford.
Compared to a lot of you Im very new to this game. Ive finished a film degree so have been making short films for a while but have been spending more and more time behind a stills camera.
At this point in time I dont have anything decent, only an old fujifilm finepix 6000 which I guess you would class as a prosumer(sp) camera.
Ive been looking at DSLRs for a while now and thinking about which to get. I am drawn to the canon cameras since I use a Canon XL1 DV camera for filming. The model that im most interested in as the Canon 400D.
I spent a few mins in Jessops playing around with one and it feels good but im still undecided since money is always going to be an issue 
I have managed to get a number of pictures on the internet using one of those free hosting places, one that doesnt seem to suck all that much. If its aloud to give external links please go over to [url=http://free...sorry it isn't allowed
