Im new to this site and I could do with a bit of advice please

I have always been facinated by wildlife and nature. As a child my Dad would always take me out in to Derbyshire every weekend. He taught me all he knew over the years.
I am now married with two boys of my own. As they are both under 2 years old some people think that they are too young to start to learn about wildlife. My wife has had a typical City girl upbringing and she had never set foot in Derbyshire until she met me.
I am wanting to take my family somewhere to show them Deer in the wild. I realise we will have to get up very early but with both my lads being under 2 we are used to it. I live inbetween Barnsley and Doncaster in South Yorkshire. Does anyone know where we could see Deer in the wild???
Any advice would be apprieciated.

Your children are absolutely NOT too young to be introduced to the natural world, what a preposterous idea! What could possibly be more natural than being immersed in nature! I'm not familiar with the area you are from, but i'd suggest looking on the net for a deer park. Ok, its not wild as such, but you will have a better chance of seeing deer in a natural looking environment. I'm not sure if a two year old will understand or take in what a deer is, but the experience will be a very valuable one.
