This is all very exciting! Well, a new experience anyway.
Though I'm quite close to 70 I'm still a boy at heart and very much enamoured by birds and animals and all things wild. I've been a member of the RSPB since I was 17, so 51 years!! Though not a record, it is a long time but I feel the more I know about wild things, the more I want to know and , paradoxically, the less I seem to know!
So, hello to everyone, I'm pleased to be joining the 'club' and hope that now I'm retired I'll be able to make a minor contribution to our collective enjoyment of the wonderful, natural stuff that surrounds us.
Do try to be good!!

Hi Elgebe, the great thing about WAB is that we are all different ages and we all get on so well as we all have the same interests - it's really friendly and helpful here - I am sure you will love it here as much as I do.
