| | | Hedgehogs and froglets I have a couple of established ponds in my garden with a number of frogs and of course an annual spawning. If I introduced (a) hedgehog(s) to the garden would they simply predate on the froglets? |

| | | Re: Hedgehogs and froglets Hello eddiegd, I have no idea about your hedgehog and frog question, we have neither in the garden I am afraid. I thought hedgehogs ate slugs and insects and never heard of them eating frogs. No doubt some one will be able to help you though - but until then welcome to WAB . |

| | | Re: Hedgehogs and froglets hedgehogs apparently do eat froglets. I have a hedgehog and froglets and would expect that the hedgehog will scoff a few but hopefully there'll be enough left to breed next year. he is blind tho so they've got a bit of an advantage over him lol. I supplement his nosh with cat food so he's not overly starving.

Hope you found out the answer to your question.
Sounds like you have a lovely garden there as you have two ponds so I hope everything will all be able to live harmoniously together!!
Welcome to Wab and I look forward to hearing how you get on.
