What an amazing site!
I've been looking for something like this for years, I stumbled upon it by trying to ID some fungi I picked today.
I am a keen funghi picker for years now, but know a tiny amount compared with some of the people on here.
I live in the (Southern) Lake District, Cumbria, am a gardener by trade, know a fair amount of latin (self-taught) am a very keen photographer (I hope to take it much more seriously soon) and have great interest in all things natural. If I can be any help to anyone I will gladly join in any discussions/posts, but beware! I may not always be right.
