Re: Hiya

Hello ladybirdluva, welcome to WAB! Ladybirds and the especially the Harlequin type has been a hot topic here on the insect forum for ages, I think we all have a soft spot for them (Not the harlequins , I mean the others ). There are plenty of other interesting threads and great photo's, so I hope to see you around .

Re: Hiya

Thanks everyone.

I am a student at the uni of reading which as you may know has a large lake so plenty of species of duck and other kinds of bird. I havent actually seen a frog in years and i'm living in a house but we haven't really gone into the garden.

We have a lot of spiders and insects coming into the house though. My housemate is scared of spiders so if i get rid of one for her i usually put it outside. Is this right? i have heard that house spiders can't survive in cold weather. If so are there any alternatives?
