Hi everyone
I've just stumbled across the WAB website whilst surfing the net trying to find out what on earth it is I've been snapping today with my new camera!!
I was so impressed with the information available on the website and the friendliness of everyone on the forums that I signed up straight away. I am sure this will be of great help to me with my new found hobby (and to be honest I can do with all the help I can get at the moment!)
A bit about me...
My name's Kate and I live in Luton, Beds, with my boyfriend Tom. We've both always been keenly interested in the countryside, wildlife and our local environment, but have only just begun trying to capture some of it on film. Neither of us really know what we're doing at the moment, but we've been having fun traipsing around the local nature reserve today trying to find out!
I hope to be able to share something of interest (and in focus!) with you soon, and look forward to chatting to you all about the Great Outdoors!

Thank you everyone for making me/us feel so welcome - I'm sure we will have lots of fun and learn a great deal as part of this site!
I've even been brave enough to attempt adding some of today's efforts - I didn't realise they would appear so quickly! Could anyone tell me if it is possible to edit the descriptions once the photos have been uploaded though - I have realised I have dated the photos March rather than April...?
