Just joined the forums -my main interests are photography & hiking, fortunately they combine quite well !!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome

Annabel, I had a fantastic week around Fort William/Isle of Skye a couple of years ago - stunning scenery & fantastic hiking, it never rained once either

Before my father died in 1982 we lived in Wester Ross. We could see the Cuillins from our living room window which was/is the largest single double glazed panoramic window in the North of Scotland. I moved to Edinburgh in 1975 and I have not been back since, but would go again if pushed

I wish I had a view of the Cullins from my front window
