| | | Greetings! Greetings from Scotland. Just thought I'd better introduce myself.
BM here from sunny Scotland (well sunny today at least! ). I've been reading posts on the forum for a few weeks now and have learnt a lot! Many thanks to all of you who have been posting. I'll hopefully be able to make a valuable contribution in the future (whilst milking the rest of you for as much info as I can get! ).
Nice to make your acquaintance! |

I must admit that I love the more northern areas from Perth onwards and apart from Norfolk are my favourite areas of Britain.

John | Many thanks to you all for the welcome. Feel at home already!
To answer your question John I grew up in the south of England (Hants, Wilts, Berks, Kent and Dorset) but went to Uni in Aberdeen and after I finished my degree I moved south to Edinburgh where I currently work and live.
My folks (both born and bred Scots) have retired to the west coast (outside Oban) so I'm spending more and more time across that way. |

I must admit I am not much of a lover of the Edinburgh area but Oban, now that's a different matter. It's gorgeous around there but it's been a while since I have visited that area.
