Cool New to Devon, and loving it

Hi all,

I'm originally from Stockport, but have been living in Malaysia for the last 3 years (now they have some really wild wildlife). On returning to the UK this year, we've now settled in East Devon, and oh, it's it a beautiful place... (though the weather's not been as good as I expected)

There is so much wildlife here that you just don't find in a city area (or I didn't anyway!) - can you believe I'd never even seen a Slow Worm or a (live) Badger!!!

I'm still busy trying to identify all the plants in our new garden, and we're hoping to set up a beehive next spring.

Looking forward to learning lots from all you knowledgable folks

Hi Snapdragon and welcome to the forum.

I am working in Devon for a couple of days next week and always look forward to trips there, early morning on the moors for me next week!

There are lots of knowledgeable folks on here, it's just that I'm not one of them

Re: New to Devon, and loving it

Hi there,

dont know why they say the weather hasnt been good this year,
Ok its been a little dull and wet but its great. I can walk for hours studying whats around with out any one else disturbing me!! Dont have to listen to "Now silly man, why photo poo??" Or "its a foot print, here let me show you another." Then theres the real morons, As im in my camo gear, "Wheres the war then??" or "Are you a soldier??"

Hope you enjoy the site
