Hello there

Just thought I'd better introduce myself. My name's Cavan Scott and I'm the editor of BBC Countryfile, a new magazine from the BBC that hits the shelves on October 2nd.

I'm chuffed to little pieces to be editing this mag as I have a real love of the UK countryside and its wildlife ever since I was dragged to Slimbridge by my Mum and Dad at an early age.

Location wise, I'm based on the outskirts of Bristol so have the glorious West Country countryside all around.

Anyway, just wanted to wave and say hello.

All the best,

Cav

How exciting, I'll look out for the mag as I enjoy the show. I'm sure you'll fit in and find the site really interesting if you get time to visit! Be warned though, it can be very addictive!

Take care

Have you been following the British Wildlife/British Birds forum - Bird Deaths thread ?

Do you have any influence with the content of countryfile, perhaps they could highlight this killer disease ?

Keith.

Re: Hello there

Hi Cav

Welcome to WAB.

I already subscribe to the BBC Wildlife magazine and I will certainly be looking out for the BBC Countryfile magazine. I never miss a programme .... unless (a) I am up early and out and about wildlife watching or (b) the alarm clock lets me down

Richard
