Carol. | Hello Carol,
Love your dog.
Sadly, my first photographic effort was rejected. Not least because I didn't read the rules first
Then I read the rules, found my sharpest photo, re-sized it, then found that I didn't know what it was, and can't work out how to to post it to "Unidentified" gallery. Or is it a forum? |

Or is it a forum? | Unidentified is a gallery. You just upload your photo in the normal manner, and Unidentified is one of the galleries in the scrollable list (towards the bottom). People then usually start a thread in the appropriate forum (Bird/wildflower/Insect, whatever) and put a link to the
photo (using the Forum Image Code below the photo in the gallery). There's a Video guide explaining how to do this, see Wild About Britain Videos Guides in the top right of this page.
Hope that helps!
(Sorry haven't yet had time to Google 'Barringer Woodbridge', got to dash as a Time Team special is on in a moment!) |

My cover is blown! Pete Collins worked out that Reg Nirrab is my surname backwards: Barringer. |

Your intro certainly got us going, especially with regards to your name/anagram, hence plenty of head scratching going on, lol! Unfortunately, I didn't get very far with that (not very bright I suppose?). Anyway, there are plenty of topics to get into, so get stuck in and enjoy! See you on the boards! |

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes, it's very friendly.
And very time-consuming
I'm delighted that I've already had two pics of Longhorn beetle accepted http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...1024comp80.jpg

I'm really Linn Barringer (RegNirrab being my surname in reverse). And now I've been 'upgraded' you can see where I'm living now.
Plus, if I've done it correctly, my main website is in my signature.
So, I'm definitely not Zorro unveiled. |

I can appreciate your aversion to forums I stopped participating in most forums a long while back but the WAB site is very different and a great place to be a part of. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
