Hi, thought i'd introduce myself.
I'm a northerner and i am equally terrified of and completely fascinated by spiders.
I was never really scared of them until i found out that even the most humble house spiders can actually give you a nasty bite (I always thought their fangs couldnt puncture our skin  ) so, although i've never been bitten myself i give them a wide berth now.
oh, I hate mosquitos too (with a vengeance)  |

Howdy to you too! I am also terrified of spiders especially house spiders and it seems to be that time of year again they want to move in with me  - I, however am not facinated with them  . Anyway, welcome to the wonderful world of WAB and hopefully I wil see you around  . |

Hi angmarwitch, I can't say I'm scared of spiders, but I don't particularly like those enormous black hairy ones!
Anyway, welcome to the WAB forum, it covers a spectrum of animals, bugs, beasts, etc, inc spiders, and they are all fascinating. See you on the boards. |
