Hi there,
My name is Simon, I'm 24 years old and I live in Burnley, Lancashire. I'm quite lucky really in where I live being just a couple of miles from the Pennine Bridleway offering some fantastic views and scenery. I enjoy mountain biking, cross country running and also fishing when I have the time so I also get to see some beautiful wildlife as well. To name a few; in the past week I have seen Deer, Herons and Pheasants. Other notable sights of late were Curlews, a Stoat and even a couple of Lapwings (I think) chasing a small Stoat/ Weasel (I'm still a noob really). I have also seen a pair of Muscovy Ducks along the Leeds-Liverpool canal which passes Burnley and Foxes in surrounding fields. All I need now is to remember to take my camera

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I am not a very good photographer.....yet! I have a point and shoot but I'm slowly getting to know it better and getting better pics from it.

Hi Simon. I'm from fairly close to you and enjoy cross-country running too. It's a great way to relieve a bit of stress and get out of the house into some lovely places you probably wouldn't do otherwise. I don't think I'd take my camera out for a run though, so good luck with that!!!
