Hi all, my real name's Derek (hence kreed).
I was made redundant last year & subsequently spent a LOT of money on digital kit to really make a go at wildlife photography.
My favourite subjects are birds in flight, & at the moment chase Red Kites all over a stretch between Corby & Peterborough.
I live in Bedfordshire, work for the NHS on a short term contract, & i'm waiting for that damned sun!!!!!!!!

Hello Derek .... a warm welcome to WAB.
I saw 3 Red Kites in the Rockingham Forest area up by you a few weeks ago .... and I am also waiting for the damned sun to put in an appearance.
I look forward to seeing your photos in the gallery, assuming the sun does appear eventually before the onset of winter again!

Hi Derek,
....you must like a challenge, photographing birds in flight I find a bit difficult.....especially anything below the size of crow!!
