| | Greetings from North Wales Hello all. I live in Caernarfon, North Wales.
Need to empty kitchen scraps into compost dalek but there are a family of thrushes out in my garden - don't want to scare the currant/gooseberry thieves off - or do I? |

| | | Re: Greetings from North Wales Hi Goosegogs, welcome to WAB. A family of thrushes! Well, around here they are quite a rarity! When I was a kid I used to see them regularly, but not anymore unfortunately. So I wouldn't mind sharing my berries with them! |

Welcome to WAB! I like your name, brings back childhood memories! As does your reference to thrushes - when I was a child there was always one in the garden, now a sighting of a thrush is a rare event!
Enjoy the site!

Shall post pics for id! |

| | | Re: Greetings from North Wales Judging from the responses in the bird forum, I have a family of blackbirds stealing my soft fruit, not thrushes (which I could do with as I have a mollusc problem - better get the beer out!). |

My Blackbird visitors only 'steal' worms from my garden as far as I can tell But I'll keep an eye out on my berries now!
